Ok , Now let me share with you alittle more of what my house keeping (car keeping, is there such word? ) involve. |

What's the REDS ! Nope , it's not the renown hair saloon in Singapore. The running red lines are actually SARD high temp vaccum hoses. The old ugly black looking hoses had their time due, so I took the chance to change them and run red hoses the way I think it should be laid. Damn, the extra length really cost me !!!. But I reckon it looks damn GOOD nevertheless! By the way, did you spot the shiny Anti Braking System (ABS) unit at the top right hand corner? .... Well, I polished it. >^_^< Photo taken on 23th January 2005. The HKS filter had been replaced with a yellow one. |

Set for easy cleaning
The cusco strut bar is designed especially for S13 with a CA18DET engine. Notice how it bends nicely above the throttle body intake. The intercooler piping was custom made according to a Japanese magazine. In fact this lay out was adopted by alot of other S13 around the world when front mount intercooler was install. The FSE raising rate fuel pressure regulator was also added to support additional demand when the boost increases. |

My Ppppsssttt making item !!! Yes , you would expect that to come from the shiny bullet-like HKS Super sequential Blow Off valve there. The green item would be the HKS mushroom air filter ( Perhaps the Japs people dreamt up this idea when having a mushroom lunch ?). The black box with two red hoses attached would be the solenoid control for my Blitz boost controller. So far I think this is one the better boost controller that is able to prevent boost spike and reduce boost creep. |

Up close and personal The Famous loud and head turning HKS Blow Off Valve. The the pissing sound you heard from the movie TOO FAST TOO FURIOUS? Well this is the item making that ear splitting sound. The violet color and the stainless steel body meant one thing. High performance business. |

The Golden Item. The Golden Item, what's that ? When I first got the car, the suspension was giving way so I went ahead with Japan's renown TEIN Suspension kit. The Golden plate is the TIEN Pillow Mount with Camber ajustable abilitles. The signature blue would be the CUSCO front Strut bar. It is specially design for the CA18 DET engine as it have a bent over the throttle body. A pretty shiny piece of equipment , don't you think ? >^_^< |

Engine Torque Damper. Why would the car need another damper to hold the engine when it already have two below the engine? Well, this thing really works. Gear engagement is smoother and less jerky when I slot in the 1st gear. Gear changes are more definite and the car pulls stronger out of the corner. Acceleration is also much smoother and progressive. Perhaps it is the muted vibration that reduce power loss. Less power loss means more power transfer to the wheels and more power to the wheels means faster ! kekeke ... I have been scouting around for this damper for sometime now and it is really worth the look.(^_^) |

Is this for real? A meter gauge in the engine Bay? YES ! This is the Malpassi FSE fuel regualtor. It is a raising pressure rate fuel regulator. After increasing changing the turbo and increasing the boost, this piece if fixture was added to make sure that every kilopascal of boost was fed by enough ounce of fuel. This is to ensure that my engine still have the life span I intended it to. OK , another piece of item you see is the CUSCO brake Stppoer. The is used to ensure that during hard braking the brake booster does not move and all the brake pressure goes directly to the brake disc. A simple cool piece of additional which I find it very helpful. |

High High Revs ! Again from the renown Japan performance parts maker, the CUSCO oil catch tank sits itself comforabley in the corner of the engine bay. Quiet and doing it's job. Look at the tube, filled with engine oil. I can't imagine all these being suck into the turbo, the piping , intercooler, into the throttle body ......yaps! Another piece of essential piece of addtional for high revs high performance car ! |

The Power Enterprise Actuator Although it looks pretty fanciful but trust me, this is the actuator for the turbo. The red vaccum gose is link directly to the BLITZ boost Solenoid instead of to the intercooler piping. This is perhaps the funkiest actuator that I had even seen. (^_^) |

Finally .... The front mount intercooler. What else can I say, this is the most important item one need to ensure COOL COOL air fed to the combustion chamber to produce healty POWER ! The intercooler is very thick and I had opt for these tube and fin type of intercooler because it is better than the bar and plate ones with regards to heat transfer especially when driven in the hot afternoon. And that's why I am always staying cool. (^_^) |

The front mount oil cooler. Finally .... and finally again ?!?! My front mount oil cooler. (^_^) I had removed my small stock cooler and mount a hugh one at the side bumper vent. The side vent is able to scoop up enough air to cool the oil cooler when driving and chasing cars...kekeke. The slivery hose you see is actually steel briaded with proper screw on type connectors for both ends of the hose. These ensures that There are no leakage and oil pressure is alway maintian. If the streel braised hose looks robust in the picture, well ... that's becasue it is ... and very expensive!!! |
